Hey,
this is just a small thing, but as there seems to be a small fix possible, I think its worth mentioning:
the result box on the search engine result page has a height
of 500. That means that there is a lot of space, when it only shows a small number of results. It also means that other objects on that page are pushed down way further than neccessary.
I think it would be better to chage the attribute to max-height
, so that the box is smaller, when there are not as much results in it.
To get your bug fixed faster please try to answer the following questions:
-
Which browser, operating system and versions of those are you using?
Win 10 & Firefox 83.0 -
Which version of Memex are you running?
Memex 2.12.0 -
What are the steps you took that lead to the bug?
Search for a Keyword on Google or DuckDuckGo with memex result bux enabled, that results in a small number of results from memex, e.g. 1-3. The result will show a lot of whitespace and if there is a box from the search engine, e.g. the google knowledge graph box, it will be pushed way down, with a lot of whitespace inbetween.
