Memex saving all the tabs by default

To get your bug fixed faster please try to answer the following questions:

  1. Which browser, operating system and versions of those are you using?
    Chrome on Windows 10

  2. Which version of Memex are you running?
    How do I find the Memex version? I am running on chrome.

  3. What are the steps you took that lead to the bug?
    I tried saving the current page and opening the Memex dashboard.

PROBLEM: For some reason, Memex saved every tab in that chrome window to the Inbox of my Memex dashboard, even though I didn’t hit any key to save all tabs. I could recreate this problem with another chrome window with multiple tabs. Why is this happening? What am I doing wrong?

So a correction. All the chrome web pages that I save as bookmark (traditional chrome bookmark) also get saved in the “All Saved > Inbox” section on the Memex page. Is that by design? Do I have an option to tweak that setting?

Yes, it auto-syncs also the bookmarks you make. So far you cannot tweak the setting.
May I ask why you’d not want your regular bookmarks also being indexed?
