I like this feature but tagging tweets by opening tweet in a private window is a pain.

yeah we are aware of that issue. We have to rebuild the Twitter integration.
Problem is shortly after we launched this feature, Twitter switched to a ReactDOM, that makes it impossible for us to reliably inject the little brain icon.
Therefore it breaks now.
Unfortunately we will soon remove this feature for that very reason, and have to wait until someone has the time to properly implement this feature again.
