Memex extension not showing/generating notes on Arc (chromium browser)

To get your bug fixed faster please try to answer the following questions:

  1. Which browser, operating system and versions of those are you using?
    Arc browser (1.41.0), macOS Monterey (12.5)

  2. Which version of Memex are you running?
    3.19.23

  3. What are the steps you took that lead to the bug?
    Watching a youtube* video, and then trying to use the Memex extension features ā€œAI Noteā€ and ā€œSummarize videoā€. On Chrome browser, a proper note of the video content is immediately generated. But on Arc, nothing happens, just a sort of loading circle icon is showed, but a note is not generated. There are other (related?) bugs, like clicking the ā€œAll notesā€ and the ā€œBy spacesā€ tabs, and see the same loading circle, but nothing else happens (on Chrome browser, using the same Memex account, these work fine).

*Bug happens on all websites Iā€™ve tried, not only youtube.

Hey there!

itā€™s very likely that you have already used up your free queries per month and there is a bug in displaying the ā€œupgradeā€ modal (I just fixed and goes out with next release)

If you have the impression youā€™ve made 25 AI queries this month already than this should pan out.
To continue using the AI features you can go to ā€œsettings > my accountā€ and upgrade to one of AI powerups.

Hi

Thanks for the answer. Actually, I wasnā€™t logged in my memex account :man_facepalming:. I suppose you cannot use those features unless you log in first. Still, shouldnā€™t I receive some sort of warning message from the extension?
Related, am I blind, or there is no any indicator at all in the memex extension interface showing my current account login status?
