iOS app has not authorized my camera and I cannot trigger this

To get your bug fixed faster please try to answer the following questions:

  1. Which browser, operating system and versions of those are you using?
    Chrome on Mac OS Catalina
  2. What are the steps you took that lead to the bug?
    I created an account.
    I am on the same wifi network as my iPhone latest OS
    I want to sync.
    Chrome generates a QR code
    I open my iOS memex go app
    Go through the screens
    Step 3 Scan the QR code Camera not authorized
    There is no way for me to authorize the camera
    Disappointed. A lot of friction here.
    Should I delete the app and start over? Wil I lose my pages?

Thanks for dropping by with your issue.

Usually at that step the iPhone asks you if you want to allow the camera to be accessed.
Maybe you have accidentally clicked that screen away, because usually this works without problems.

What you can do is go to your iphone settings > Memex Go > Camera to enable the setting. Then you can go back to the pairing screen.

Hope that solves the problem and sorry for the late reply.

And yes, if you delete the app and have some pages saved on it beforehand, it will delete the data on it that is not synced yet.
