Highlighting issues with links being covered with color

To get your bug fixed faster please try to answer the following questions:

  1. Which browser, operating system and versions of those are you using?
    google chrome
  2. Which version of Memex are you running?
    newest one
  3. What are the steps you took that lead to the bug?
    all i did was highlight and the links are highlighted to the point that you cant see if it is a url link anymore

this becomes extremely difficult to tell if you are clicking the highlighter or the links behind them. you also lose sight of all of the links behind the highlight.

i had to reply like this because im a new user and it doesnt let me post more than one picture. sorry about that @BlackForestBoi

but i would very much like this improvement and/or if there is a setting for this, thank you for your reply!
