I have blacklisted gmail to disable memex collecting info on that site. However, if I highlight something it seem to be permanent. That’s fine.
But I cannot find that highlight in the dashboard.
Is it a bug, or is blacklist so hardly enforced I should not see that result?
That’s indeed a bug/edge case we have not properly implemented.
The blacklist in this case is hard enforced, the problem is that it blocks the actual indexing process, even just of the title and url to display it in the dashboard.
We have it on our roadmap to fix this, so that pages that are interacted with (bookmarking, highlighting, tagging) are exempt from the blacklist.
We just haven’t gotten around with that.
